Tamdhu Quercus Alba Distinction Release 2 is a limited-edition Speyside single malt, matured entirely in first-fill American white oak casks that held Oloroso sherry. The oak comes from North America. The casks are crafted, toasted and seasoned with Oloroso in Spain's sherry triangle, a process that takes six years. The release is built around the softer, sweeter character of American oak. It is described as having rich fruity flavours and warming spice, with a smooth texture and a vibrant amber colour.
