Tchankat is a French whisky from Gascony, produced by Samalens, a house best known for its Armagnac. It departs from the Scottish style and is built on corn, giving a grain whisky. The nose offers vanilla, soft cereals, honey and light wood, with a subtle spiciness. The palate is round and supple, with sweet corn, caramel, light spices and a hint of dried fruit. The finish is short to medium, warm and smooth.
