Blended Whisky
Te Bheag Uisge Beatha is a blended Scotch whisky from the 1970s, noted for its high malt content and peaty profile. The nose has a strong whiff of iodine with a savoury undertone recalling soy sauce or Thai fish sauce, alongside industrial oils and coconut. The palate is silky and syrupy, slightly sweet at first, with a hint of peat, barrel char and baking spices such as anise and cardamom. The finish is medium to long and slightly oily, with toasted coconut, meaty and not bitter.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
