Teacher's Highland Cream is a blended Scotch whisky from William Teacher & Sons, with a history going back to 1830. It is bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle and matured in oak casks.
The blend contains at least 45% malt whisky, which is unusually high, with smoky Ardmore single malt at its core. The name refers to the full, almost creamy texture.
The nose combines malt and peat with honey, ripe pear and a touch of toffee. On the palate it is full and round, with malt sugars, apple, a balanced peat smoke and warm spice. The finish is long and warming, with lingering smoke, oak and a silky sweet close.
