This is a 15-year-old single malt Irish whiskey from Teeling, bottled from a single cask as a California edition in a 750ml bottle.
It was matured fully in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks and bottled at cask strength without chill-filtering. The cask was hand-selected exclusively for California.
Tasting notes point to sun-dried figs, dark cherries and toasted oak on the nose, with warm baking spices. On the palate come velvety caramel, candied orange peel and raisins, with roasted nuts and a little cocoa. The finish is long, with sherry-soaked fruit and gentle spice.
