Teeling Blackpitts

Teeling Blackpitts is an Irish single malt whiskey made in a peated style. The smoke is rich and deep, without the heavy medicinal tones often found in Scottish peated whiskeys. Maturation in bourbon and Sauternes casks adds a subtle sweetness. The nose is soft smoke with honey, citrus and tropical fruit. The palate is creamy, with smoked apple, vanilla and spicy oak, and the long, balanced finish combines peat, honey and spices.
