Teeling Rising Reserve 21 Year Old Single Malt Irish Whiskey (70cl, 46%)

Teeling Rising Reserve 21 Year Old is a single malt Irish whiskey, the first release in the Rising Reserve Series from the Teeling Whiskey Company. It is a limited edition drawn from some of the company's oldest stocks, and it celebrates the revival of Dublin whiskey. The whiskey was first matured in ex-bourbon casks, then finished in Carcavelos wine casks from Portugal. It is bottled at 46% ABV, non-chill filtered, in a 70cl bottle. The nose brings pear, citrus zest, honey, dried fruits and mature oak. On the palate come tropical fruit, vanilla, caramel, toasted nuts and spice, with a silky texture. The finish is long, with lingering fruit, baking spice and oak.
