Tenjaku Pure Malt Sherry Cask (70cl, 43%)

Tenjaku Pure Malt Sherry Cask is a Japanese blended malt, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. Master blender Kenji Watanabe marries four malt whiskies aged three, five, eight and twelve years. It has no added colour. The malts first matured in ex-bourbon casks, then received a sherry cask finish of at least six months before bottling. The blend is reduced with water from the Misaka mountains in Yamanashi. The nose pairs ripe fruit with a light, fine malt note. The palate is velvety, with rich malt and gentle sweetness in balance. The finish is long and deep, with fruit and soft cask notes sounding together.
