That Boutique-y Malt Co. bottled this White Peak, a 2 year old malt spirit, at 50% in a 50cl bottle. It was matured in an STR cask, a formula devised by the late Dr Jim Swan that involves shaving, toasting and re-charring red wine hogsheads.
White Peak stands in the Derwent Valley, a World Heritage site, where the founder, Max, wanted a distillery near a river. The stills were built by McMillan Engineering in Edinburgh. This release is one of 603 bottles.
