That Boutique-y Whisky Company Armorik 7 Year Old Batch 1 (50%)

This is batch 1 of Armorik, a Breton single malt aged for seven years and bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company. The label shows a druid filling a still as if it were a magic potion cauldron, an illustration in comic-book style. It is bottled at 50% ABV, non-chill-filtered and without added colour. The nose is cooking spices and green plums, with a gentle hint of toasted wood. The palate brings bread and hazelnuts, salted butter and a little jam, followed by chocolate and malt. The finish is ginger and cumin, rounded and warm.
