This is a 26 year old Speyside single malt from That Boutique-y Whisky Company, bottled at 45% in a 70cl bottle. The whisky was laid down in 1998 and matured for 26 years, and it joins the bottler's Label Editions. The nose is juicy barley and vanilla with crisp apples, honeyed tropical fruit, orchard blossom and a little lemongrass. The palate is rich and creamy, with vanilla custard, honey, lemon posset and poached apples, alongside peppery warmth and drying oak. The finish carries woody spices, peppercorns, ginger and oaky vanilla.
