The Alrik 1912 Lughnasadh Edition is a smoked single malt from the Hammerschmiede in the German Harz, bottled in 2026. It was distilled entirely from heavily smoked malt. Matured mainly in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, this edition marries a PX sherry hogshead and a PX sherry quarter cask with a Banyuls wine cask.
Bottled at cask strength, 52.3% ABV, without colouring or chill-filtration, it comes in 480 bottles of 70cl. The name Lughnasadh refers to the traditional harvest festival on 1 August.
