The Antiquary 12 Years Old is a Scotch whisky bottled in the 1980s. It has a gold colour. The nose is honeyed and minty, with chestnut honey, toasted brioche, fir smoke, pumpkin cake, sultanas, old PX sherry and a touch of absinthe. On the palate it is still punchy and vibrant, with smoke, resinous notes, several honeys and tobacco, followed by dried figs, bananas and currants over a quiet minerality. The finish is long and honeyed, with fresh mint leaves and pine needles.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
