The Arran Barrel Reserve is a single malt Scotch whisky from Isle of Arran Distillers, one of the few independent distilleries left in Scotland. The distillery stands at Lochranza on the Isle of Arran, off the west coast between Ayrshire and Kintyre. The company was founded by Harold Currie, formerly Managing Director of Chivas. The nose combines citrus and vanilla with lively apple and a delicate sea breeze. On the palate come sweet fruits, warm spices, citrus, creamy vanilla and charred oak.
