A 5 year old single malt from The Arran Malt Distillery, the Founder's Reserve from 1995. It was released in 2001 to raise funds for the distillery's shareholders and was bottled for shareholders and bond holders. It comes in its original cardboard carton.
The nose brings custard cream biscuits, vanilla ice cream, tropical fruit and lemon icing. On the palate there is white chocolate panna cotta, spiced pineapple and vanillin oak. The finish carries buttery shortbread, pineapple zest and a trace of spice.
