The Balvenie Caribbean Cask is a 14 year old single malt from Speyside, in a 70cl bottle at 43%. It spent 14 years in traditional oak casks before a finish in Caribbean rum casks.
It was created by Malt Master David Stewart, who marked 50 years at the distillery in 2012.
The notes are rounded, with vanilla, toffee, nutmeg and sweet oak, and a fruity character that develops with time.
