This is a 14 year old single malt from The Balvenie, in a 70cl bottle. It was created by Malt Master David Stewart, who marked 50 years at the distillery in 2012.
The whisky spends 14 years maturing in traditional oak casks and is then finished in Caribbean rum casks.
It is usually described as having notes of vanilla, toffee and nutmeg, with subtle rum-soaked raisins.
