The Balvenie – 14 Year Old The Week of Peat (70cl, 48.3%)

This is a 14 year old Speyside single malt from The Balvenie, bottled at 48.3% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is a limited edition. The Week of Peat takes its name from the one week each year when the distillery makes peated malt. The whisky is made from 100% Highland peat. Campfire smoke runs alongside the distillery's usual honeyed sweetness, with vanilla toffee and a gentle hint of citrus. The smoke lingers warmly on the palate.
