The Balvenie Twenty-Five is a 25 year old single malt Scotch whisky, in a 70cl bottle at 48% ABV. It is part of the Rare Marriages range, in which individual casks are brought together to make a single, layered expression.
The nose offers soft autumn fruits, runny honey, crystallised ginger and raw sugar cane over a rich oakiness. On the palate, bold vanilla and oak ease into toasted marshmallow, fresh fruit and cinnamon apple tart. The finish is exceptionally long, with lasting sweetness.
