This is The Balvenie Aged 15 Years Single Barrel, a Speyside single malt from a single cask, in a 70cl bottle at 47.8% ABV. The strength gives the malt extra muscle, and the rich, fruity character of the distillery still comes through clearly. The expression won the top prize in its category at the World Whisky Awards 2010. It comes in a vintage box.
