The Balvenie Caribbean Cask is a 14 year old Speyside single malt at 43% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in traditional oak casks and then finished in Caribbean rum casks.
It was created by Malt Master David Stewart, who marked 50 years at the distillery in 2012.
The flavour is rounded, with vanilla, toffee, nutmeg and sweet oak, and a fruity character that develops with time. It can be served neat or with a few drops of water to open up the flavours.
