This is a 21 year old Highland single malt from Balvenie, bottled in 2009 at 47.6% in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and was a limited release.
Malt Master David Stewart used 21 year old American oak bourbon casks, which were then finished in port casks 30 to 40 years old. The whisky has a deep copper colour.
It is described as rich and complex, with a spicy finish.
