The Balvenie – Single Barrel 12 Years

The Balvenie Single Barrel is a 12 year old Speyside single malt drawn from one cask only. The malt master picks out a cask in which the character of the distillery is immediately recognisable. That cask is set apart and bottled on its own in the distillery's own bottling hall, a practice the family-run company keeps up out of respect for tradition. Nose and flavour differ from cask to cask, but honey and vanilla are always present.
