The Balvenie Stories 14 Year Old Week of Peat is a Speyside single malt from The Balvenie, part of its Stories series. It is made from peated malt, produced during just one week each year, an idea put forward by former distillery manager Ian Millar around twenty years ago.
The result is an elegant, smoky whisky in the style associated with Islay. It is non-chill-filtered, and honey and vanilla notes come through in the flavour.
