The Balvenie The Creation of a Classic (70cl, 43%)

This is a Speyside single malt from Balvenie, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It pays tribute to the creativity and inventiveness of David C. Stewart M.B.E., who created The Balvenie Classic. The words on the very first bottle of The Balvenie Classic called it probably the finest Highland malt whisky. The nose is lively, with vanilla and spice recalling dried cloves and chai tea. On the palate oak, toffee and gentle spice sit together. The finish is long and dry, with subtle oak.
