The Balvenie The Week of Peat 14 Year Old is a Speyside single malt from The Balvenie Stories range, bottled at 48.3% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The idea came from distillery manager Ian Millar, who ordered a batch of Speyside peat for the kiln after a trip to Islay. For one week a year the distillery distils peated malt, and this 14 year old is the result.
Honey, vanilla and citrus lead the flavour, with an extra layer of delicate smokiness.
