The Belgian Owl 3 Year Old is an official distillery bottling of Belgian single malt, bottled in 2022 at 46% in a 50cl bottle.
It is distilled from 100% Belgian barley and matured in first-fill bourbon casks. The result is a fresh, lively whisky that balances grain, wood and citrus, and introduces the Hesbaye terroir associated with the distillery.
The nose is soft vanilla, fresh barley, light honey and citrus zest. The palate is creamy vanilla, sweet malt, pear, green apple and a hint of white pepper. The finish is clean and fresh, slightly spicy, and short to medium long.
