This is a Belgian single malt from The Belgian Owl, distilled in the Haspengouw region. It matured for 49 months in a single first-fill bourbon cask and was bottled at a cask strength of 69% ABV in a 50cl bottle. It is unpeated, uncoloured and non-chill filtered.
The nose has ripe grain, vanilla, honey, warm oak and light citrus. The palate is full and concentrated, with vanilla cream, malt, soft spices and a subtle woody sweetness. The finish is long and warm, with lingering oak, malt and a fine spiciness.
