This is a Belgian single malt from The Belgian Owl, made with Hesbaye barley and bottled in 2022 at 46% in a 50cl bottle.
It was matured for between 48 and 59 months in first-fill bourbon casks, which gives a full, round, vanilla-led character while keeping the freshness the distillery is known for.
The nose is soft vanilla, crème brûlée, fresh barley and citrus oil. The palate is creamy, fruity and slightly spicy, with pear, honey, white chocolate and bourbon wood. The finish is medium-long, with warm oak and light sweetness.
