It matured for 45 months in a bourbon barrel and is undiluted and non-chill-filtered. The bottling comes from cask number 7172236 and is presented in a diamond-shaped bottle. The nose is powerful, with vanilla, rough oak, honey, grain and a light warmth of alcohol. The palate is oily and dry, with bourbon sweetness, malt, pepper and wood tannins. The finish is long, warm and dry, with lingering spice and wood. A few drops of water draw out vanilla, caramel and a soft maltiness.
