The BenRiach 21 Year Old is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 46% ABV. It was matured in four cask types: virgin American oak, ex-Bourbon barrels, PX sherry and red wine casks. It belongs to the distillery's unpeated classic range and was among the first creations of master blender Dr Rachel Barrie after she joined in 2017.
The nose is fruity and vibrant, with candied citrus peel, pears, orange zest and vanilla cookie dough. On the palate come gingerbread, delicate sherry and red fruits. The finish is long and slightly dry, with red wine and creamy butteriness.
