The BenRiach The Original Ten 10 Year Old Three Cask Matured (70cl, 43%)

A 10 year old Speyside single malt from BenRiach, called The Original Ten and matured in three types of cask: bourbon barrels, sherry casks and virgin oak casks. It is bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The whisky from each cask is married together, giving orchard fruit, honeyed malt and toasted oak with a subtle trace of smoke. The colour is summer gold. On the nose it is rich with orchard fruit, honey and toasted oak. The palate brings ripe pear, nectarine and malt sweetness, and the finish carries almond and spiced vanilla.
