The BenRiach The Smoky Ten is a single malt Scotch whisky from Speyside, made from a mix of unpeated and peated spirit. It has matured for at least ten years in three kinds of cask: bourbon barrels, Jamaican rum casks and toasted virgin oak, which are then married together. It is bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle and has a bright gold colour.
The nose is ripe orchard fruit syrup, smoked honey glaze and oak spice. The palate brings smoked applewood, honey maple and spiced pear, and the finish is sweet and smoky.
