The Dalmore 12 Years Old is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky, matured in American white oak and Oloroso sherry wood. It is bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose opens with citrus, especially candied orange peel, followed by chocolate, aromatic spice and a sweet background of raisins and sherry. The palate is silky, with Seville orange, raisins, plums, vanilla, caramel and light wood. The finish is medium to long and warm, with roasted coffee, dark chocolate and a little cinnamon spice.
