The Dublin Liberties Copper Alley is a ten-year-old Irish single malt, released in 2016 as the second bottling from The Dublin Liberties. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It spent most of its time in ex-bourbon casks, then moved for a further six months into 30-year-old ex-Oloroso sherry casks. It was not distilled by the Dublin Liberties Distillery itself: Darryl McNally and his team bought casks from an older distillery and put the whiskey together locally. The name refers to one of the oldest streets in Dublin. Dark chocolate, raisins, walnuts, citrus fruit and apricots reflect the sherry influence, with bourbon-cask vanilla alongside.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
