The Famous Grouse Ruby Cask (70cl, 40%)

The Famous Grouse Ruby Cask is a blended Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 40%. After blending it receives a further period of maturation in ruby port casks. The port finish gives a softer, fruitier style than the standard Famous Grouse, with more roundness and a slight sweetness. It can be drunk neat or with a drop of water. The nose offers red fruit, light sweetness, soft malt and a hint of vanilla. The palate is round and smooth, with berries, caramel and subtle spice. The finish is soft, slightly sweet and medium in length.
