The Glenlivet 12 Years Old is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Speyside distillery of The Glenlivet, bottled at 40%. It is distilled in copper pot stills and matured for 12 years in American oak and European sherry casks.
The nose is fresh and fruity, with pineapple, pear and citrus, a light floral note and a touch of vanilla. The palate is soft and delicate, with honey and toffee sweetness alongside almond and a gently spiced oak. The finish is long and mellow, leaving sweetness and a little spice.
