The Glenlivet – Caribbean Reserve (70cl, 40%)

The Glenlivet Caribbean Reserve is a single malt bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. A portion of the whisky was finished in barrels that previously held Caribbean rum, bringing a touch of the Tropics to the distillery's style. The Glenlivet was among the first distilleries to use French oak casks to mature whisky, and the French oak is said to give a rich, exotic character. It is described as smooth and sweet, with fruity toffee notes.
