The Glenlivet Caskmakers is a Speyside single malt inspired by the work of the distillery's coopers and cask makers. It is matured in a combination of American oak and European oak casks, and bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose brings honey, vanilla, ripe pear and citrus, with toasted oak and baking spices. Orchard fruits, caramel, butterscotch and toffee come through on the palate, alongside cinnamon and gentle oak. The finish is long and soft, with lingering sweetness and delicate spice.
