The Glenlivet Groundbreaker Collection Chapter One: The Journey Inward is a limited-edition single malt and the first chapter in the Groundbreaker Collection. It is a Speyside whisky that reflects the distillery's interest in innovation and in pushing the boundaries of whisky making.
The nose offers ripe orchard fruit, honey, vanilla and citrus zest, with delicate floral notes and subtle oak spice. On the palate come caramelised pear, toffee, baked apple and creamy vanilla, with toasted oak, nutmeg and sweet spice.
The finish is long and smooth, with lingering fruit, honey and gentle oak.
