The Glenrothes Whisky Maker's Cut (70cl, 48.8%)

Whisky Maker's Cut is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky from Glenrothes, part of the sherry-led Soleo range first launched in autumn 2018. It has been matured entirely in first-fill sherry casks and is bottled at 48.8% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The cask influence shows in dried fruits, orange rind, cinnamon, nutmeg, toffee, creamy vanilla custard, dark chocolate, black cherries, dark oak and a little leather. The floral and nutty character of Glenrothes is also present. It is a bottling from Master Whisky Maker Gordon Motion.
