The Glenturret 12 Year Old is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle. It comes from what is described as Scotland's oldest working distillery.
The whisky is matured in hand-selected sherry-seasoned casks of American and European oak. It has a deep mahogany-amber colour and a full, velvety body, with deep fruit, warm spice and oak.
The nose brings dried fruit, dark raisins, toasted oak, honey, vanilla and cinnamon. On the palate are fruitcake, dark chocolate, ginger, sultanas and toasted almonds, and the finish is long and warm, with dried fruit, gentle oak tannins and baking spices.
