The distillery values its refill casks for the gentle influence of oak they give, which lets the original spirit character come through. The first-fill casks add richness, with sweet fruit and spice. The notes mention toffee apple and tropical fruit, then peaches in syrup with a hint of coconut. A vanilla sponge layered with fruit and spice leads into a warm finish.
