The Glenturret Triple Wood is a single malt from The Glenturret distillery in Crieff, bottled at 45% in a 70cl bottle. This is the 2025 release.
The whisky is matured in American and European oak casks that previously held sherry, together with ex-bourbon barrels. The three types of wood give sweetness, spice and a gentle oak character.
The nose and palate bring vanilla and toffee apple, then malt and cinnamon, with ginger cake, light fruit and soft wood spice. The finish is sweet.
