The Hearach Croft Strength is a single malt from Isle of Harris Distillery, a young distillery on the island of Harris in the Outer Hebrides. This is the higher-strength version, bottled at 52% in a 70cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and without added colour.
The nose holds ripe fruit, honey and malt, with fine spice and a hint of maritime freshness. On the palate it is full and intense, with vanilla, caramel, citrus and spicy oak, plus a light saltiness. The finish is long, warm and balanced, with lingering spice, oak and a restrained sweetness.
