The Ileach Cask Strength is an Islay single malt in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 58% abv by the Vintage Malt Whisky Co. The spirit comes from one of the big Islay distilleries, which is not named.
It is matured in a mixture of ex-sherry butts and ex-bourbon wood, and is bottled at a minimum of 5 years old.
It is described as robustly peaty, with an unmistakable breath of the seashore, and as strong yet gentle, warm yet mellow.
