The Irishman Cask Strength Vintage Cask 2022, 14th Edition (54.9%)

The Irishman Vintage Cask 2022 is the 14th release of a cask strength Irish whiskey, bottled at 54.9% ABV and non-chill-filtered. It blends triple-distilled aged single malt with aged single pot still whiskey, from casks hand-selected by the founder, Bernard Walsh. The series began in 2008, when it became the first triple-distilled cask strength Irish whiskey released in over half a century. A new limited release follows each year. The nose offers apple and pear with cinnamon, nutmeg and clove. The palate brings sweet apple blossom, wild honeycomb and nutty spice, and the finish is walnut, chocolate and toasted oak.
