The Irishman Single Malt is an Irish single malt from Middleton, bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is triple distilled.
The whisky spends more than 10 years in sherry and bourbon casks before bottling.
The nose is light and fruity, with a hint of liquorice and crumbly vanilla fudge. The palate recalls peaches and cream, with crushed biscuits and almonds. The finish is fairly long, with oak coming through near the end.
