The Islay 20 Year Old Single Malt - Minerva x Master of Malt (70cl, 46.3%)

A 20-year-old single cask Islay single malt, in a 70cl bottle at 46.3%. It was created by Master of Malt with the design agency Studio Minerva, and the whisky was both distilled and matured on Islay. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. This twenty-year-old edition draws on the red sandstone that shapes Islay's coasts, valleys and soils. Before bottling, the whisky is reduced slowly to strength over two weeks. The nose pairs tropical fruit with ashy smoke. White chocolate and vanilla wafers appear on the palate, and the gentle finish leaves vanilla and oak.
