Mizunara wood finish
The Koshi-No Shinobu Pure Malt Whisky is a blended malt created in Niigata, an area known for snow, rice and sake. Its maker, Mr Usami, hand-selected malt whiskies from around the world that had matured in ex-sherry and ex-bourbon casks. He blended them and finished the result in Mizunara wood. The finish carries rich notes of incense, sandalwood and gentle spices over a smooth, moreish spirit. This bottling was produced before Japan's whisky labelling standards were introduced in February 2021.
